Fall 2015: Shoe Crush

I love shoes, but really, what girl doesn’t? I always tend to look at shoes first. As someone who is extremely hard on shoes I, twice a year, replenish my collection for the season. At the end of each season, I take inventory and get rid of any and all pealing toes, flapping soles, and loose heels. Some leather goods take a trip to the shoe guy for cleaning and repair, while most are donated / tossed. This is pretty expensive, especially since I probably am a bit quicker to get rid of bad shoes than most but the advantage is that I keep pretty up to date with shoe trends.

This fall I am so excited to get a couple cute new pairs of ankle boots.. I know most of you might be anxiously anticipating the return of high boots, but my calves and I cherish the staying power of the ankle boot. This year I am going to opt for some simpler options for a more tailored look. I am also real excited about loafers, while I will probably only invest in one pair because of the infrequency that I wear a pant, I do love the classic look of this shoe when paired with the right thing. And finally, for an updated heel option (or three) I truly love the fact that the 90s square heel has returned and I plan to rock that as far into winter as the weather will allow. Take a peak at some of my shoe crushes for fall…
