Ever since we moved into our house life has been more about furniture and home décor than it’s been about keeping up with fashion. Plus, let’s face it, fashion isn’t always easy when you aren’t a size two. Truth be told, I have seemed to settle into my own style and it’s a lot less expensive since.
It is nice to be in the know when it comes to trends in fashion and implementing a few each season helps keep your look feel fresh. Above are a few items I have my eye on for spring, if I had an unlimited budget of course!
NUMBER ONE- This subtle hint of flower power is huge part of my one of my personal style and a huge trend this year.
NUMBER TWO- In recent years we’ve been all about the necklace, but this spring statement earrings are back with a vengeance. I love this tassel pair from J.Crew
NUMBER THREE- Gladiators are back in a big way. I love this knee high statement piece.
NUMBER FOUR- Jumpsuits are showing staying power, and I love that this one integrated another big trend for spring, the tie waist. This number is a great staple and can do everything from a casual weekend outting to a night out.
NUMBER FIVE- Gingham is the new plaid. Enough said.
NUMBER SIX- Military style never really goes anywhere, which is why its nice to invest in a classic piece.
NUMBER SEVEN- I adore the whimsy in this work appropriate piece. Polka dots were shown on several runways for spring.
